For those of you that are unfamiliar with Sahm, let me give you a little bit of background on how regally bred he is. He is first and foremost a Graded Stakes winning son of Mr. Prospector, winning the Grade (IIT) Knickerbocker Handicap in record time. He is owned by Sheik Mohammed Maktoum, the leading buyer and breeder of thoroughbreds worldwide. He is out of a phenomenal 1.4 million dollar earning mare named Salsabil, who was the first filly in 90 years to
win the General Accident One Thousand Guineas in the U.K. Salsabil is by the number one leading sire in Europe - Sadler's Wells.
Overview
Line bred 3x3 to Mr. Prospector, Zarifah shows size, class and scope, moves fluidly, and has shown us a little bit of attitude that should bode well for the track. Line breeding to Mr. Prospector has resulted in over 65 stakes winners to date and as most people in the thoroughbred business know, Mr. Prospector line horses have the highest number of stakes winners in the United States.
